ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist Women's Tennis defeated the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics and recorded their first conference win of the season (Mo.) 9-0.
The Spartans regained momentum after Friday's conference loss and swept the Eutectics 9-0 on Saturday.
Krista Tyson, Haley Grueber and Emma Schoch took victories in both doubles and singles.
Freshman Elizabeth Siegfried held the Eutectics at a distance and took singles No. 6 6-1, 6-0.
"As a team, we really struggled with the wind, so I am glad we got to work through our issues while picking up a win," said Head Coach Cole Stevenson. "Also, having nine different players pick up wins in the same day is pretty special and doesn't happen often."
The Spartans travel to Evangel University (Mo.) on April 9.
