ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist Women's Tennis lost against NAIA opponent Evangel University (Mo.) 6-3 on Saturday.
Missouri Baptist (2-8) couldn't stop the Evangel Crusaders' win streak.
The wins came from singles No.'s 4, 5 and 6. Haley Grueber, Rafeala Davide and Lindsey Burgess finished the game with three clean matches.
"We came out far too flat in doubles," said Head Coach Cole Stevenon. "We have to fix that, but 6-3 against a team that qualified for Nationals last year is a good sign."
