ST. LOUIS—[BOX SCORE] No. 3 Missouri Baptist Men's Lacrosse dropped a 13-7 decision to No. 5 Siena Heights on Saturday afternoon in Williamsburg, Ky.
After an impressive seven-goal effort on Thursday against the Cumberlands, junior Austin Dahl picked up where he left on Saturday afternoon. Dahl gave the Spartans a 1-0 lead a little over a minute into the first quarter.
The Saints responded with three unanswered goals before Andy Coulter and Tim Borroff struck for MBU to tie it at three. Austin Dahl would add two more before the break but the Spartans trailed 6-5 at halftime.
Siena Heights would run away with the match in the second half. They outscored Missouri Baptist 7-2 in the third and fourth quarter to claim a 13-7 victory.
The defeat brings MBU's record to 3-1 on the season. Their next action will be Wednesday, March 8 when they take on Benedictine (Kan.) at 1 pm at Spartan Field.
