JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.- Missouri Baptist Women's Track & Field traveled up the road this weekend (April 7-8) to take on the Lincoln University Open.
Isabel Rinkenberger was the standout runner for the Spartans at the meet. Rinkenberger placed fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.95, less than a second away from setting a new personal record.
Haley Hernandez followed up with a fifth-place finish in the 3000-meter run. She clocked in a time of 11:36.25, setting a new PR.
With a sixth-place finish,
Alaina Scott made her way into the top ten with a height of 3.12 meters in the pole vault.
Maegan Saleh was there with her, earning sixth in the long jump with a distance of 5.09 meters.
Mia Reed rounded out the top ten for the Spartans, earning tenth in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:54.78.
The 4X400 meter relay just missed out on the top ten, earning 11
th.

Mia Reed made up the team, and clocked in a time of 5:29.22.
Mia Oellermann faced the same fate in the 100-meter hurdles. Oellermann took 11
th in the preliminaries with a time of 17.38, narrowly missing out on her chance to make the finals.
The Spartans will be back at it for the UCM Mule Relays on Friday, April 14.
