TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
Isabella Aimonette took 39
th at the NAIA National Championship on Friday, claiming All-American status for the first time in her career as Missouri Baptist University women's cross country placed three inside the top 250.
Aimonette led the Spartans with a strong national debut, clocking
21:57.5 at Apalachee Regional Park. Jaynie Halterman from Taylor University won the event with a 20:13.2, breaking her own meet record and leading the Trojans to the national title.

Haley Hernandez was the second Spartan across the line. Hernandez closed late to post a time of
24:17.6, placing
235th. Just behind her, sophomore
Julia Whorton finished in
24:28.7 for
249th, giving the Spartans three runners inside the top 250.

Adrienne Rockette added a
24:34.0 finish for
251st, while freshman
Alyssa Collins recorded
24:37.5, placing
256th. Sophomore
Camrin Watkins crossed in
25:00.9 for
273rd, and freshman
Allie England rounded out MBU's seven-runner lineup in
25:54.5 for
297th.
The championship field featured more than 330 runners and 36 complete teams.
