ST. LOUIS – The 11
th-ranked Missouri Baptist University men's volleyball team swept Ottawa University (Kan.) on Saturday afternoon to extend the winning streak to four games. The Spartans improved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference with a sweep of the Braves.

Missouri Baptist got out to a 9-1 lead in the first set and completed a dominant frame with a 25-18 win to take a 1-0 advantage.
David Rudic had 11 assists while
Marko Jovanovic had six assists.
Ottawa kept pace with MBU in the second set until Jovanovic tallied three consecutive kills and four of the next five as the Spartans took a 19-14 lead.
Michael Olson notched the final three kills of the set to put a bow on a 25-21 set two victory.
The hitting percentage continued to go up as
Tom Young's team hit .429 with 16 kills on 28 attacks in the third set to wrap up a sweep with a 25-22 final. Rudic added 14 more assists to his total to bring him to 36 and Jovanovic added seven kills to put him at a team-high 18.
