ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Baptist University men's volleyball team earned conference recognition as three Spartans were named to the All-Conference teams, as announced by the Heart of America Athletic Conference earlier today. Cruse Aea and Isaac Allgeyer were selected to the All-Conference Second Team, while Luka Stepanovic received Honorable Mention honors.
The trio played key roles in the Spartans' success throughout the 2026 campaign, contributing on both ends of the floor.
Aea anchored the Spartans' back row this season, serving as the team's primary libero. He appeared in 29 matches and totaled 317 digs while averaging 3.08 per set. Aea also contributed 14 service aces and 77 assists. He was also named Heart Defender of the Week on March 9. His efforts consistently kept Missouri Baptist in system and fueled transition opportunities.
Allgeyer earned Second Team recognition after leading the Spartans offensively from the outside. He recorded 319 kills and averaged 3.15 kills per set, while adding 30.0 blocks on the defensive end. Allgeyer proved to be a six-rotation contributor, playing a key role in scoring, especially on serve, delivering 41 aces during the season.
Stepanovic secured Honorable Mention honors following a strong season on the right side. He totaled 280 kills and hit 0.260 on the year. Defensively, he contributed 35.0 blocks at the net.
Missouri Baptist closed the 2026 season with a 16-13 record and looks to carry the momentum as the program continues to build within a competitive landscape.
