ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist University men's volleyball team will wrap up its regular season on the road Tuesday with a 6 p.m. matchup against Culver-Stockton College.
MBU came off last week with a sweep against Graceland. Offensively, the Spartans were led by
AJ Tufuga with a total of 10 kills.
Gabe Counts provided the team with a strong offense, keeping a 0.700 percentage, while setter
Josh Kaemmerer dished out 30 assists.
Defensively, Tufuga shut down the offense with four blocks, and libero
Reagan Froemsdorf anchored the back row with 10 digs.
Culver- Stockton
Culver-Stockton stands twelfth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference with a record of 2-14. The attack is led by Cooper Varner (2.6 K/S) and setter Matt Reese (6.09 A/S). Defensively, the Wildcats are led by libero Cikeng Lee with 1.66 digs per set.
The Spartans played the Wildcats Feb. 25 and swept the game. MBU has played Culver-Stockton 20 times since 2015 and has won every match.
