Cole Robinson hit five home runs in a makeup doubleheader against Crowley's Ridge College on Tuesday afternoon to help No. 19 Missouri Baptist University finish the four-game sweep. Robinson hit four home runs in game one and one in game two to help the team to blowout wins.

Game One Recap
Cole Robinson went 6-for-6 in game one with four home runs, eight RBI, and five runs scored to power MBU to a 27-0 victory. He hit a solo home run in the first and third innings, a two-run shot in the fourth, and another two-run bomb in the sixth. He tacked on a single in the second inning and a two-RBI single in the fifth.

Blayne Yarger,
James Jett,
Jayden Orozco,
Kai Gray, and
Kevin Watkins also hit home runs in the contest. Jett was 3-for-4 with four RBI, Gray and Watkins had three RBI each, and Orozco was 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI.

Gus Lucas got the start in game one and hurled four scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
Austin Szverra had two scoreless innings out of the bullpen with three strikeouts, and
Skout Rallo ended the rout with a strikeout in a shutout seventh.

The win improved the Spartans to 14-5 overall and 10-2 in the American Midwest Conference.

Game Two Recap
Tony Caldwell got the start in game two and got through 3.2 innings, allowing two runs with five strikeouts.
Taylon Laxson relieved him in the fourth and pitched 3.1 scoreless innings with four strikeouts to pick up his first win of the year.

The MBU offense continued to swing hot bats, posting a run in the first inning, two in the second, and eight in the third. Robinson's fifth home run of the day came in the third inning to push the lead up to 9-0. Orozco hit his second of the afternoon a few batters later to make it 11-0.

Crowley's Ridge got two back in the fourth, but home runs from Yarger and
Jakob Kouneski made them a distant memory. MBU went on to win 24-2 to earn the four-game sweep of the Pioneers.
