St. Louis, Mo. – Missouri Baptist University men's lacrosse fell to St. Ambrose University, 13-9, on Wednesday evening at Spartan Field.
With the loss, the Spartans dropped to 2-5 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Caleb Tant, Joe Busselman, and Raymond Lingard each scored two goals, while Matthew Lash, Addison Bryan, and Jake Cordes added one apiece.
Tant and Lash led the team in points, with Tant recording two assists to go along with his two goals and Lash contributing three assists and a goal.
The Bees narrowly outshot the Spartans, 38-34, in a closely contested matchup.
After a deadlocked first half, the teams entered halftime tied at 6-6. However, St. Ambrose outscored Missouri Baptist 7-3 in the second half to secure the win.
