KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri Baptist University baseball is on the move, climbing to No. 11 in the first NAIA Coaches' Poll released Wednesday, March 4.

Eddie Uschold, the Spartans hold a 9-3 record after a recent 2-1 series win over (RV) Cumberland University.
The team defeated the No. 1-ranked team earlier in the season, besting Louisiana State University Shreveport 3-1 on Feb. 7, 2026.
Teague Robertson tossed a complete game in the contest, allowing two hits with seven strikeouts to win
NAIA Pitcher of the Week.
In total, they have three wins over ranked opponents and five total wins over teams that have received votes for the top 25. The other two ranked wins this season came at No. 11 William Carey University, both of which were saved by the eventual
Heart of America Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week,
Zach Peters.
The Spartans continue the season on Friday, March 6, to open a four-game set with (RV) Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. The first pitch at Five Wells Field is scheduled for 2 p.m.
