OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - No. 10 Missouri Baptist Women's Volleyball finds itself in the Heart of America Athletic Conference weekly awards once again, this time with Fernanda Perini earning Attacker of the Week honors. The junior middle now has two weekly conference honors this season, the first of which was for defense.

Now deep into Heart play, Perini and the Spartans cruised to three victories over William Woods, Grand View, and William Penn, sweeping each team 3-0. Perini tallied 11, 12, and 11 kills respectively for a total of 34 and an average of 3.78 per set, each mark leading her team. The most impressive part, though, was the attacker's efficiency, putting down over half of her attempts at a .517 hitting percentage.

Perini's defense was still an important piece for the trio of victories as well, adding a total of 10 blocks across the week.

Missouri Baptist Women's Volleyball has a long break ahead of them before hitting the road once more to face two more Heart opponents, Saint Ambrose and Culver-Stockton, on Friday, Sept. 25th and Saturday, Sept. 26th.
