Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 On Friday, March 5, the MBU women's softball team swept a double header with NCAA D-III Greenville College 13-0, 14-4.
In game one, MBU's Megan Bote hurled a one hit shutout. Lauren Scovill hit a three run homer in the first inning, and the Spartans were never headed. Jenna Bentlage homered as well. Megan Rocco was 3-for-3, while Danny Bayer and Kalie Henthorn chipped in with two hits a piece.


In game two, Jenna Bentlage propelled the Spartans with a Grand Slam. Lesley Kennedy also went yard. Megan Rocco again lead the hit barrage going 4-for-4. Danny Bayer and Brittany Job contributed two hit performances. Hurler Jenni Kemp went the distance helping to secure victory.
Missouri Baptist is now 4-8 for the season, as they prepare to travel to Florida for ten games over Spring Break. They will return home to host Illinois College in a 2:00 p.m. double header on March 17.
