Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 The MBU softball team went 3-3 in play last week, going 1-3 in American Midwest Conference action, but getting a double header shutout of non-conference opponent St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.

The Lady Spartans opened the week with a split with Park University at home on Monday. MBU's Jenny Kemp threw for a 5-1 win in game one. In game two, Jessica Robinson allowed five hits, as the Lady Spartans lost 2-1. On Thursday, the Lady Spartans were swept by AMC leader and NAIA 25th ranked Columbia College. The Lady Cougars took the contests 3-0 and 4-2. 

The Lady Spartans closed out the week on a high note, earning a double header shutout of St. Mary-of-the-Woods. MBU won game one 5-0 and game two 9-0. 

Up next, the Lady Spartans will travel locally to Harris-Stowe State University for an AMC double header on Tuesday. Currently, MBU sits in seventh place in the AMC with a 6-10 record, just a game behind HSSU in sixth place (5-7).
