BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Missouri Baptist Track and Field program sent five athletes to compete against NCAA Division I talent in the Hoosier Hills meet hosted by Indiana University on Friday afternoon.
Elijah McNairy had a strong outing finishing 11
th out of 26 in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.49 seconds. Additionally, he competed in the 60m dash where his 7.33 took 24
th place.
Proleine Pierre finished in 15
th in the women's 60m dash with a time of 8.12 seconds.
Emily Bayer also saw some track time in the meet, placing 15
th in the one-mile run with a 5:09.55.
In the field,
Sydney Neiter placed seventh in the high jump with a 1.55m leap and
Kyle Christopher placed 9
th of 15 in the shot put with a 14.54m effort.
Indoor Track & Field continues Saturday, February 22 as the Spartans take on the Missouri Collegiate Challenge in Columbia Missouri.
