WICHITA, Kan. – Missouri Baptist University women's lacrosse standout Jordan Haeusser has not skipped a beat after reeling in Independent Conference Rookie of the Year honors in 2019. On Monday afternoon, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference office announced the sophomore midfielder as Offensive Player of the Week for her performance against Madonna University (Mich.) in the team's season opener Saturday.
 
Despite a 13-9 loss in the opener, Haeusser had the Crusaders on their toes and helped keep MBU in the game until the very end. The St. Louis sophomore led the Spartans in nearly every statistical category tallying a team high in goals (4), assists (2), points (6), shots (10), ground balls (7), draw controls (4) and caused turnovers (2). On the way to her eighth career multi-goal game, Haeusser was extremely accurate scoring four off of six on-target shots.
 
This is Haeusser's first career Player of the Week award and also represents the first for the Spartans as a new affiliate member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference for women's lacrosse.
