ST. LOUIS – After a dominant all-around performance in Missouri Baptist University's 24-4 win over Culver-Stockton on Feb. 19, junior Delaney Pechnik was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week. This marks her second week in a row claiming Offensive Player of the Week.
Pechnik, an attacker for Missouri Baptist University, powered the Spartans' offense with six goals and four assists for a game-high 10 points. She was efficient throughout, converting her lone free-position attempt and placing six shots on goal while finishing with a 60 percent shooting mark.
In addition to her offensive production, Pechnik controlled possession with 11 draw controls, while adding two ground balls to impact the game on both ends.
The Spartans are on the road this week, taking on the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Feb. 27. Face-off is set for 1 p.m.
