Allison Leigraf scored Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors on Monday, April 20, following an elite performance at the plate across six games.

The No. 8 Missouri Baptist University softball team went 5-1 on the road last week, with doubleheaders against Peru State College, Clarke University and Mount Mercy University

Leigraf totaled 17 RBI, six extra-base hits and two homeruns, batting .588 with a .636 on-base percentage and 1.235 slugging percentage. She currently leads the Heart with 49 RBI and ranks second in homeruns with 11 this season.

On Monday, April 13, Leigraf powered the Spartans to a sweep over Peru State (9-1, 10-2). In six at-bats, the senior third baseman drove in six RBI off three hits, including two doubles.

Leigraf matched her performance with six more RBI against Clarke on Thursday, April 16. Going 5-for-5 at the plate and knocking out a homerun, she led the Spartans to their fourth win of the week.

In the final set against Mount Mercy on Friday, April 17, Leigraf drove in five RBI and a homerun to secure the 11-2 win, splitting the series.

No. 8 MBU Softball improved to 33-8 overall and lead the Heart of America Athletic Conference at 19-3. The Spartans pick up Tuesday, April 21, for a doubleheader at home against Culver-Stockton College at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
