On Friday, the MBU men's volleyball team faced Cardinal Stritch University at home, exactly a week after losing a marathon five-game match to the wolves at the Lindenwood Tournament. This time, however, the Spartans avenged that loss, with a 3-0 victory.Missouri Baptist battled each game to take the three-game victory; 30-26, 30-24, 30-28. At the net, the Spartans recorded 43 kills and 12 blocks. Matt Mahoney led the assault at the net, tallying 12 kills and 3 blocks. Jonathan Roldan contributed 10 kills and 2 blocks, and recorded 8 digs. Josh Haegele dished out 33 assists.

The Spartans are now 4-3 overall, 1-0 in the MAMVIC West. They face conference opponent Hannibal-LaGrange College at home on Thursday, February 11th. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
