The MBU men's volleyball team capped off its season on Saturday by finishing in second place at the NAIA National Invitational Tournament. 

The Spartans lost to California Baptist University in Saturday's Championship match (30-15, 30-21, 30-25). The second place finish finalized a 26-11 season, that saw the Spartans finish in second place in the MAMVIC West Regular Season and win the MAMVIC West Post-Season Tournament.

Highlighting the Spartan's season honors, seniors Matt Mahoney, an opposite side hitter from Florissant, Mo., and Josh Haegele, a setter from Oakville, Mo., were named to the NAIA-AVCA All-American Team.
