ST. LOUIS [BOX SCORE] – The Missouri Baptist men's volleyball team started post season in the Midwest Conference Quarterfinal with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-9) sweep of Dort College (Iowa) on Friday. 

The Spartans (27-1, 10-0) started the match with a 25-18 set one win as Dordt hung tight and recorded the team's highest hitting percentage of 0.050. MBU recorded its highest total of kills in the match with 17.

Missouri Baptist continued to hold the momentum as the team held the Defenders to a negative hitting percentage in both the second and third set.

The Spartans closed the match on top and posted their highest hitting percentage of 0.733.

Grant Carder led the offense with a total of 11 kills.

Kyle Foley fed the offense with 21 total assists on the night.

Missouri Baptist will continue its post season run as the team will compete in the first Midwest Conference Semifinal match-up on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. against Ottawa University (Kan.).
