ST. LOUIS – No. 4 Missouri Baptist University men's volleyball swept (RV) Indiana Tech University behind 17 kills from Michael Olson on Wednesday night. The Spartans improve to 15-4 overall heading into a doubleheader in Salina, Kan., on Friday, March 14.

MBU men's volleyball took all three sets over Indiana Tech, 25-22, 25-21, 25-17, to earn a sweep and their 15th win of the season. They hit .326 in the match with 46 kills on 95 attacks and 14 errors.

Michael Olson led the way with 17 kills, and
Marko Jovanovic trailed by three with 14 in the match. The reigning
NAIA National Defender of the Week Veljko Culibrk led with six blocks, David Rudic sent up 39 assists, and libero
Alex Seyer had 12 digs.
In set one, the Spartans hit .312, behind Olson's seven kills. Trailing 10-7, the graduate student from Wildwood, Mo., had three kills to spur a 7-0 run to take a 13-10 lead. MBU went on to take the opening set 25-22.

Tom Young's squad got
out to a 15-8 lead in set two behind 10 kills and defended it until a 25-21 victory. Jovanovic took over in the third set with six kills to lead a .321 team attack percentage in the frame as the Spartans earned the sweep with a 25-17 win.
