KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
David Rudic won his first career NAIA National Setter of the Week award on Tuesday afternoon for his performance in a pair of conference wins over the weekend.

After claiming
Heart of America Athletic Conference Setter of the Week yesterday, Rudic won the NAIA weekly award after posting 89 assists and a 12.71 set average in seven sets.

In the sweep over Dordt University, Rudic notched 46 assists. The Spartans extended their winning streak to six games in a four-set win on Saturday morning over (RV) Morningside University where Rudic added 43 assists. He additionally added nine digs, five kills, and five total blocks in the wins.

The Spartans continue conference play on Tuesday against Culver-Stockton College at  6 p.m., and have a make-up contest against the University of Health Science & Pharmacy at the Carl & Deloris Petty SRC on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
