For the second straight year, a women’s volleyball player has entered the Spartan Athletics Hall of Fame. Brittany Lukasek (Wyatt) becomes the sixth women’s volleyball inductee, joining Linda Ebert, Ana Mercado, Shannan Swiney, Jennifer Freund, and Brandi Schroeder. The middle blocker was a four-time All-AMC selection and a two-time NAIA All-American in 2007 and 2008. During Lukasek’s four-year career, MBU logged 122 wins, back-to-back NAIA National Championship Semifinal appearances, and a 74-14 record during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Across her final three seasons, Lukasek averaged 3.18 kills per set, 1.12 blocks per set, and a red-hot .441 hitting percentage. She currently ranks 2nd all-time in blocks behind 2016 Hall of Fame inductee Jennifer Freund.

Lukasek also got it done in the classroom earning three AMC Academic All-Conference awards and the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award in 2008. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Sports Medicine in 2009 and an MBA in 2010.
