Hall of Fame
Damon Burkhart, a former Spartan baseball player, played from 1999-2001 and served as a graduate assistant coach for the team from the 2001 - 2004 season. In his time on the team, Burkhart was a two-time All-Conference selection and set the school record for stolen bases. After graduation, Burkhart played professionally for several teams in the Frontier League. In 2002, he was chosen as the starting second baseman on the Frontier League All-Star Team.
