Jennfier (Fruend) Sinn played volleyball for MBU from 1997 to 2001. She was a standout all four years, earning multiple All-Conference and All-Region honors. In 2000, under Head Coach Jay Potter, the Spartan Star was named NAIA First-Team All-American.

As one of the top players in the country, along with playing a vital role in bringing Spartan Volleyball to the forefront of the NAIA (which now is a dynasty by the way), Jennifer was named Missouri Baptist Female Athlete of the Year in 2001. During her tenure at MBU, Jennifer had over 30 kills three times in her career and totaled 711 kills in her senior season alone. Coach Potter had this to say about Jennifer. "Jen's progress was absolutely phenomenal. I have and will continue to use her example of work ethic and mind-set for years to come."

Since graduating in 2001 with an education degree, Jennifer married her husband Patrick (an MBU Graduate in Business Administration). They have three children; Aubrey (9), Michael (7), and Hunter (2). Jennifer is employed as a science teacher at Crestview Middle School in the Rockwood School District.
