Carrie (Obermoeller) Catalano began playing for the Missouri Baptist women's soccer team in 1996 and made an immediate impact. She earned American Midwest Conference (AMC) most valuable player honors for her outstanding play and also garnered national attention, being named to the NSCAA All-America Honorable Mention team.

Carrie continued to lead the Spartans during her sophomore campaign that resulted in several accolades, including First Team All-Conference, Missouri Baptist Female Athlete of the Year and NSCAA First Team All-American honors to top it all off.

Sadly, complications to repair a torn ACL ended Carrie's playing career after two seasons. However, she remained an encouraging force on the team during her final two years and her legacy at Missouri Baptist still remains strong.

Carrie graduated from Missouri Baptist in 2000 and quickly began working at World Wide Technology Inc. Carrie married her high school sweetheart, Jeff Catalano and the couple have two boys, Tyler and Brandon.
